Companion Errand Program
The Companion Errand Program provides Belchertown seniors with transportation and a companion to accompany them to physician appointments, dental visits, physical therapy, medical tests, etc. Those served depend on the service for something many of us who drive take for granted: a means to get from one place to another.
We greatly appreciate the financial support for this program through donations from clients served, their families, local citizens, and area businesses. The program is currently partially funded by a Federal Title IIIE Caregiver Assistance grant through WestMass Elder Care our local Aging Service Access Point, and by funding from the Older Americans Act through the Massachusetts Office of Elder Affairs and the Administration for Community Living.
