Teen Center
The Belchertown Teen Center
opened its doors in September of 1999 to rave reviews. Daily the center is used
by many teens who are in the 6th-12th grade. We are
committed to making the center available to all the teens of Belchertown who
are in the 6th-12th grade. We provide a safe, drug free environment in which
teens can play pool, ping pong, basketball, volleyball, foosball, air hockey,
watch a movie, work in the gardens, get help with their school work and have a
snack. The Teen Center focuses on providing enriching
activities to teens who might not otherwise have an
opportunity to express themselves creatively and to learn constructive problem
solving and social skills within a positive growth-oriented environment. We
hope that the teens that use the facility will be positively affected by their
experiences at the Center.
Need a place to study? Want to grab a snack before going to
your practice? Would you like to hang out with friends? Please stop by and
check out our facility, you will be pleasantly surprised. Bus #1 will take
students from Jabish Brook and the High School to the Teen Center.
We are located directly behind the Police Station and Senior Center.
Volunteers are always welcome.
