I have a license to carry from another state and am moving into Belchertown. What procedures must I follow?

You must also apply for a Massachusetts firearms license as soon as possible at the Belchertown Police Department. Applications and criteria are available at the police station.

Out of State Applicants must have a Massachusetts State Approved Firearms Safety Certificate before they can apply for a license.  

Massachusetts will not recognize or approve ANY safety course that has not been instructed by a Massachusetts State Certified Instructor.
