Outreach Services
Reaching out to the elderly residents of Belchertown is a large part of the mission of the Council On Aging.  Outreach workers are specially trained professionals who assist clients in maintaining their independence for as long as possible. Through meetings with elders in their home environment, needs can be assessed and addressed together. At times family members may be a part of this process.

Along with assisting elders to assess and verbalize their needs, Outreach Workers are knowledgeable on where and how to connect elders with resources.
