The Anshin Martial Arts Center offers Shoshin Ryu Jujitsu , a martial art with something for everyone. It provides the flexibility to handle most any situation and the diversity of techniques to adapt to any body.
The Anshin Martial Arts Center provides excellent martial arts training opportunities to students young and old. Students learn how to defend against a multitude of personal attacks including punches, kicks, strikes, grabs, holds, chokes, as well as ground attacks and weapons in an effective and realistic manner. Also, students learn self-discipline, respect for self and others, courtesy, situational and self-awareness, responsibility and goal setting, all in a safe controlled environment.
The Anshin Center is proud of it’s safety record. The first priority of the Anshin Center is the safety of the student. The first priority of the student is the safety of their partner. The activities offered at the Center are Martial Arts, as opposed to martial sports. This is a cooperative art form, not a competitive sport or game. It is a traditionally based system, which stresses self-defense and personal growth. The techniques and principals learned are practical and effective for self-defense. Students are encouraged to seek creative, peaceful solutions to resolve conflicts.
The Anshin Center also offers specialized courses such as Women’s Self-defense, Lil’ Dragons, a pre-martial arts class for youngsters, and Taiko (Japanese drumming) workshops. Visitors are welcome anytime and are encouraged to ask questions about the school and it’s activities. An interested person may even try out a class for FREE to see if they like it, with no obligation. Classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Please call for more information, 413 244-4100

Beaudoin's School of Martial Arts has been teaching the benefits of the martial arts to men, women and children of all ages in Belchertown for over 13 years. We operate a full time school with a variety of class times to fit your schedule.
Beaudoin's School of Martial Arts is a very different kind of school. Our curriculum is built around personal development, non-violent conflict resolution, anger management, environmental self-defense, sustainability, project management, leadership training, and other topics, which typically have little or nothing to do with the martial arts. The reason? My long term goal is not to develop champion martial artists, but to be an integral part of the "village" that helps create evolved, clear-thinking, self-actualized human beings.
Beaudoin’s School of Martial Arts accepts students who earnestly want to study the martial arts. Claude Beaudoin interviews potential students (and if under 18 years of age, their parents) and accepts those who have an attitude and interest congruent with Beaudoin’s School of Martial Arts curriculum and objectives.
If you have questions about anything pertaining to the martial arts or Beaudoin’s School of Martial Arts, please call or e-mail us.
