do Friends do? |

- We help support and promote the growth
and development of the Clapp Memorial Library.
- We raise funds for books & materials.
- We plan and staff the Friends books
sales.
- We sell items of related interest to
Library patrons, including two different sized "logo-item"
tote bags. All proceeds benefit the Library.
- We sponsor special library programs such
as author events, lectures and book signings.
- We sponsor children's events to
encourage a positive association with learning and the library, including
our ongoing assistance with the summer reading program.
- We lobby public officials on behalf of
the library.
- We participate in the Belchertown Fair -
see us in the Parade and stop by the "Friends" Booth!
