What's new at the
Belchertown Housing Authority?

There are currently 2 vacancies on the Belchertown Housing Authority Board of Commissioners. If you are are interested in serving on our board please submit a letter of interest to our office. Requirements include being a registered voter of the town of Belchertown and also attending the monthly board meetings.


There is a tenant informational meeting on rent determination being offered Thursday, May 24th 2018 at 1PM. Please call the office by Wednesday, May 16th to RSVP if you wish to attend.


At the annual Belchertown town meeting, the BHA request for Community Preservation grant funds to finish replacing the windows at Everett Acres was approved! We would like to thank the registered voters of Belchertown for your support. Our elderly and disabled residents are eagerly awaiting their new windows.


Through formula funding money obtained through the MA Department of Housing & Community Development (DHCD), BHA is currently updating multiple first floor apartment bathrooms at Everett Acres to be more accessible. BHA was also recently able to install a brand new fire alarm system at Everett Acres and multiple brand new exterior doors at the George Hannum family housing property.



The Belchertown Housing Authority is officially non-smoking as of April 1st 2016! There are  designated smoking areas outside, and there is no more smoking inside of the buildings or apartment units.
